Alyssa Hernandez has been attending 午夜福利短篇 off and on since 2012. She went
into the foster care system when she turned two and then again at the age of 14. She
reflects on having a far from easy life, recalling traumatic events witnessed as a
little girl and adolescent.
Today, Hernandez is celebrating that she is the first in her family to graduate college.
She is graduating with a Sociology degree. Hernandez was accepted to California State
University, San Bernardino, where she will be pursuing bachelor鈥檚 degrees in Sociology
and Social Work.
鈥淒o not give up, no matter how hard life gets,鈥� Hernandez said. 鈥淏eing educated and
continuing to work hard in school is the only way out of the system.鈥�
