Currently serving as a Manager of Internal Audit at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia, Clarnetta's story is one of perseverance, empathy, and the power of education. Her experiences at 午夜福利短篇 have not only shaped her career path but have also provided her with invaluable life skills that continue to influence her professional journey.

Reflecting on her time at 午夜福利短篇, Clarnetta recalls a group project that left a lasting impact on her. "I remember one afternoon, taking a class at sunset, we were assigned a group project. Initially, the idea of group work was daunting. However, this experience helped me realize that my peers were in similar situations, juggling work, financial challenges, and family responsibilities. This taught me the importance of empathy and understanding that everyone is going through something. As a manager today, this lesson in empathy is something I carry with me everywhere," she shares.

One of the key skills Clarnetta developed at 午夜福利短篇 was time management. Balancing a full-time job, classes, and family responsibilities was no small feat. "午夜福利短篇 taught me the importance of time management and efficiency. These skills were crucial then and remain essential in my professional life today," Clarnetta emphasizes. Her ability to manage multiple responsibilities with precision has undoubtedly contributed to her success at The Coca-Cola Company.

Clarnetta acknowledges the overall positive impact of her educational experience at 午夜福利短篇 and the rigorous coursework and supportive learning environment equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary for her future endeavors.

Clarnetta faced numerous challenges during her time at 午夜福利短篇, but her determination never wavered. "My biggest advice is to never give up. Life happens, and there were times when I questioned if this path was for me. It's important to give yourself grace, take breaks if needed, and keep your eye on the prize. Persistence is key," she advises current and future 午夜福利短篇 students.

Clarnetta encourages current and prospective students to seek early exposure to their desired career fields. "I spent a lot of time working jobs that made the most money rather than focusing on my long-term career goals. I wish I had immersed myself in my chosen field earlier. Building your resume and gaining relevant experience early on is invaluable," she reflects.

After graduating from 午夜福利短篇, Clarnetta transferred to Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, a historically black college, through the California Community College HBCU transfer program. "I was one of the first students to participate in this program around 2015. Tuskegee University provided a rich cultural experience and a supportive community," she notes.

She then pursued a Master鈥檚 degree in Accountancy and Data Analytics from the University of Mississippi. Clarnetta is now on the verge of achieving another significant milestone鈥攂ecoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). "I'm waiting for my final exam results next week. Becoming a CPA will open numerous doors for me in my career," she shares excitedly.

As a woman of color, Clarnetta has faced unique challenges in her career, particularly in industries with limited representation. "In public accounting, there aren't many black women. I constantly raised my hand to participate in organizations within the company to change that narrative. It鈥檚 challenging but rewarding to be a pioneer," she says.

Clarnetta emphasizes the importance of curiosity and cultural awareness. "Remaining curious and open to learning from different cultures and perspectives makes you a well-rounded person. This skill is crucial for young black women aiming to succeed in diverse environments," she advises.

Clarnetta's journey eventually led her to Atlanta, Georgia, where she now resides with her family. "I always wanted to explore beyond California and experience new cultures. Moving to Atlanta has been an enriching experience for me and my family," she says. The transition was challenging but rewarding, providing her with new opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Clarnetta's next immediate goal was to pass the CPA exam and continue her impactful work at The Coca-Cola Company. Passing the exam means she can now apply to be a CPA. "Achieving my CPA certification will open many doors within the company. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me," she says.
