Esmeralda comes to ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû¶Ìƪ from Santa Ana College, where she served as the Budget Manager for five years. Esmeralda’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She brings to ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû¶Ìƪ more than ten years of professional experience in higher education budget development, complex and technical accounting experience, cash operations, internal control procedures and purchasing processes, along with a seasoned approach to leading and developing cohesive teams in financial services and auxiliary services. At ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû¶Ìƪ, Esmeralda will be providing leadership to Business Services teams in Budget and Finance, Cashiering, the College Resource Center, and Food Services.
Esmeralda has a reputation for subject matter expertise, dependability, a dedication to student success, and the ability to work collaboratively to support the business needs of the college community. As a community college success story herself, she notes that it’s the people and environment that make the difference in students’ success, a perspective that will serve the college well as we transition into the State’s new Student Centered Funding Formula.
